On Wednesday, 28th June 2023, an agreement regarding QR payment has been signed between Namaste Pay and Fonepay. Pravin Raj Pokharel, Chief Executive Officer of Namaste Pay and Diwas Kumar Sapkota, Chief Executive Officer of Fonepay signed the agreement in the presence of representatives from both organizations and media personnel.

With the agreement, Namaste Pay users can now make QR payments through the Fone Pay network at more than 1.2 million Fonepay merchants across Nepal. Both the CEOs of Namaste Pay and Fonepay expressed their delight at the cooperation between the two fintech companies.

The partnership between Namaste Pay and Fonepay allows users to make instant and secure mobile payments through the secure payment channel of the former.
